The Ashes has turned out to be a hugely exciting contest and in the end it was England who made the most of their own conditions to win the series with one match left to play.

I feel that the England batsmen deal with the seaming and the swinging ball much better than the Australian batsmen do, they are not used to the ball moving a lot sideways. The English batsmen are more used to playing the ball close to their eyes and under their eyes and play it late.

An Ashes Summer in England is always something very special, not just for the players but for all followers of cricket- it is the biggest series that there is in world cricket.

This time round I think that it will be a very keenly contested because England have got the home advantage which I think will give them the upper hand because the conditions will be in their favour.

Having said that England have to prepare the right wicket to suit themselves.

it’s good to be back at the County Ground! - August 2014

It is always great to be back here at the County Ground and to fell part of the Somerset changing room again.

This is a good time to come back because we are still in with a chance of reaching the last eight of the 50 over one day competition and also lifting the championship title for the first time ever, which would be some feat and Id love to be part of that.
